To do this, open the Layout Designer, select your logo in the upper left corner, and then drag and drop it to the desired location. Depending on the current layout of your invoice, you may have to move and adjust some of the existing elements to make room for the logo. Save your logo to the hard drive on your computer and note the file name and directory location, which you'll need in step 4. In QuickBooks Pro, click on ''Lists'' in the menu bar and select "Templates" from the drop-down menu. When the Templates window pops up, double-click on the template you wish to modify.
The Basic Customization window will appear. Click on the "Layout Designer" button at the bottom of the Basic Customization screen. Locate the "Add" button at the top of the Layout Designer screen and click on the down arrow on the Add button, then hit '"Select Image. When the Select Image screen pops up, find your logo file that you saved to your hard drive in step 1 and double-click it or select it and click "Open". Click "OK" to the warning that says QuickBooks will copy the image.
The logo will now appear on your invoice template in the Layout Designer screen. To reposition the logo, click on it to highlight it. Move your cursor over the selected logo and when the crosshairs appear, left-click and drag the logo into the position you want on the form. You can also resize the logo by selecting it and putting your cursor over one of the boxes on the selected perimeter.
